Shoddy Lawyering
As evidenced in a recent San Diego Union Tribune Editorial titled, simply, "Shoddy Lawyering," Mike Aguirre has damaged not only the office of the city attorney, but the City of San Diego as well.
What does it say about an executive when they lose 125 out of 135 employees in under four years? That's a 92 percent turnover rate for those of you following at home, and that's exactly what Mike Aguirre's track record is in the San Diego City Attorney's office.
This represents hundreds -- if not thousands -- of years of legal experience lost in just a short time, and many attorneys have been dismissed under questionable circumstances and with little or no warning.
Who's left to run the place? Well Aguirre's brother, for one. After several years out of the legal profession, Gary Aguirre is now making a comeback as an unpaid intern under the auspices of his little bro. Coming to the rescue, or can you just not pay anybody to work for Mike Aguirre?
